Pig fat

Motul 5100 10w 50 and has your bike got a sight glass where you can see the height of the oil near the foot brake pedal, F for full, L for low, hold bike level when checking height.

I'm returning the DR to standard height and in doing so have noticed some sideways movement where the lower part if the shock attaches to the linkage.I first thought it was missing the dust seals and bought a pair of new ones but have since found that they are in place. Are there supposed to be any shims between the shock and the linkage as well. The diagram I have says no.

Lower shock and linkage

How's that?

My dr has pooped its pants once already but a downer bike for $1500 and couple of hundred on new parts and she's away again and better than ever I might add.

Well, I did have them on my bike so you could say that.

Yeah, clutch is going great, I assume, because I haven't picked it up yet. I told the wife she would have to forego her root canal therapy to pay for it

Have you got a service manual? Not that I'm any good at being able to read them but there are diagrams and removal/installation notes for that process etc. If you need a manual send me a PM with your email address and I'll send it in PDF.

cheers

Re the Service Manual.

I've had a couple of requests for copies of it but there are some difficulties getting it through the servers because it's 80+MB.

Does anyone know how I can store it somewhere on the net and then everyone can download it?

Thanks mate,
I've got a manual and a digram of the parts and it only shows the dust seals.I've shimed it up and now there's no sideways movement.Seems strange though.

Cheers
