Worth noting that you can't fit VSM foot peg lowering plates if you have a centre stand (or I couldn't ).

Home made by a guy down south.
I wanted the lowering brackets built in, so sent him the CAD drawing of them I'd made.

If you're racing the dr then try aren't really worth it, but for normal adventuring, they're great.

ProCycle also advertise a 520 front sprocket that has the extra width boss the same as the stock 525 front. I think it's from a DR800 or something similar

I ordered mine a few days ago, so it should be here early next week. I'll take some measurements when it gets here.

So my 16T front sprocket arrived from ProCycle. It measures up as a 525 should for teeth width and overall/boss width. Also has holes for the retainer plate to be fitted - no circlip.
Not fitted yet, but can't see any issues other than my chain probably isn't long enough to fit 16/43.

'Roo's....DR PARTS wanted.

Hi ADVers . Holiday not as planned. month off work, was to ride to Melbourne to visit family. I'm in St George hospital in Sydney ATM, waiting to be transfered to Grafton. I hit a kangaroo at 110k/h.. .. south of Nerrandera on Tuesday 3rd April. The broken bits: pelvis, most ribs, collar bone & shoulder blade, face (upper jaw. Punctured left lung, lost a little skin. Overall not too bad, the roo died!
well i rode from Grafton to Armidale ,Tamworth. stayed in Tamworth at a mates, had a few beers and a meal at the pub next to the ' Big Golden Guitar. Next day rode to Gunnedah , Dubbo to Nerrandera. stayed at caravan park in my swag. Next day headed towards Tocumwal but about 1 hour after i left i was riding on a straight section of the highway when a large 'roo jumped over a fence (its all farmland around there) and came straight into me. i got on the brakes as hard as i could to wipe some speed off. the roo was sort of stuck on the front of the bike then it fell down and went under my front wheel. The bike flipped forwards and i went over the handle bars.... woke up and two truckies had stopped and called an ambulance.[Dont wear cheap cordura gear, shreded it] the police came then an ambulance took me to Wagga Wagga hospital. A farmer picked my bike up and took it to the police station. they checked me over then flew me in a plane to a hospital in Sydney. 4 weeks later and im still here. waiting for them to transfer me to Grafton hospital.
>The bike is not bad condition considering. (DRs are tough bikes) Think I will need front wheel, forks, H/light surround , mirrors, bars, light & indicator switch etc .. Dont know if safari tank has a leak yet... Will need to have a look when i get out of here... If anyone has some parts they want to sell, please pm me. Thanks
