As it appears, size matters to me and I run a 140/17 E-09 Dakar but I doubt running that on the 18 would fit......I am pretty confident the 130 would fit with the 18.......so long as I am not bound to my comment....................not wanting to get in discussions over tyre sizes, I just like a lot more tyre.

I like 705's in 120 and E-07's in 130.

I like narrower tyres.

Anybody tried one of these for the DR650 - MC Performance mufflers??

http://www.mcperformance.com.au/inde...=85&Itemid=102

I looking at this option as opposed to a full staintune option.

A "performance" muffler for a DR650, thats funny , I suggest if you are looking for performance enhancements for the DR650 then you are wasting your time and you should maybe look at getting a different bike instead

Hmm, that's the name of the company. Um, yeah, lots of performance mods for the DR650 (tm40, 790 kit etc etc), maybe you should check out procycle's website?

I am devastated...

7 years with my DR, tinkering and modding, and now you tell me I've been wasting my time ?

It took me hours to grind my header pipe...

I bought a staintune (now on second bike) from Kesner Suzuki about $800 3 years ago, nice product. Procycle sell slipons from about $260. Supertrap and Two Brothers

Hi, internet is shaped atm otherwise I'd look back through all the post's
So DR with just bottom of snorkel removed, FMF muffler, Standard carby, needle raised one notch and extra hole in slide (which I may refill) runs well, economy not as good as friends but I need a new needle as mine is wearing at the top.
Go standard new one or does someone have a better one in mind?

DR Ozzy, obviously the stock DR is too much for you. Maybe a Scooter? Some of us prefer to get from A toB just a little quicker. GSXR mufflers are the Gold Standard!
