Mostly what I'm looking for is the approximate spring rate I should be looking at. I'll redo the stack myself but I'd like a starting point for the spring so I don't end up with half a dozen different ones.
Anyone?
I'm 87kg and have an IMS tank and DRZ-250 adjustable cartridge forks with DR650 Eibach .47 springs fitted.
I'm not an aggressive rider but I get along ok and I'm finding that setup pretty good including with a tank bag on board.

Based on that I'd be saying at least .50 if not .52 or whatever the next step up is as you'll be carrying ~20kg more than me on or near the front with a full tank.

The racetech calculator is saying .54 and I'm thinking of going with that.
I'll give them a call tomorrow and see what they recommend for me. I'll weigh the front and rear so I can give them the biases and take it from there.
Forks aren't here yet and I'm still waiting for the disc and axle so I'm about a week from starting.

BRISSIE HELP NEEDED!!!!

Greetings all. Stripped the DR last weekend to do some work in prep for the run to the TTT Rally next weekend and I have lost the right spacer from the rear wheel. Local Suzuki stores don't have one in stock which is fair enough as it is a non wearing part. Need to have this back together Sunday night.

Does anyone in Bris have a spare right rear wheel spacer that I can beg, buy or borrow?

Appreciate any assistance.

Cheers - Ron.

Nope. Cleaned out the garage last weekend. Sold a pile of DR farkles plus my beloved old DR plus tossed a heap of gear in the rubbish. I'm thinking the spacer has rolled off the bench and landed in my bench side bin which was later emptied into the council bin. And the council rubbish man came the day before I realized it was missing!!!

The question is still: "How was it all sorted."

Been lurking here for ages, but since I've just stumbled onto this thread I think I should ring in with a couple of pics of my DR
(photos taken for the Canterbury tagorama on Kiwi Biker)

The only thing it's missing is a long range tank, came with heaps of good bits, I'm really happy with it.
Being my first 'dirt' bike (only been riding for about 18 months) bought it for a bit of dirt experience to help my road riding and now it gets ridden far more than my other bike.
I'm really getting into adventure riding, considering getting camping gear sorted so I can go on longer rides.

Hi, welcome to posting.

When posting pics and text

put an 'enter' after each.

{img}xxxxxxxxxxxx{/img}

It will look like this

{img}xxxxxxxxxxxx{/img}

and everything will be aligned

down the left column.

If writing a long paragraph add several

'enters' (about 3 or 4 lines)

and it will be easier to read.

Is this directed at me? I use my phone to access the forum so it looks normal without spaces between pictures, but since it obviously doesn't work for you guys using computers I will edit my post to comply.

Looks like your carrying about as much fuel as the time you did when you ran out at Urbenville, hopefully there's someone around to help you out again.
