How often do you clean in there?
If you over lube the chain or never clean out the old lube you may have shoved old lube mixed with sand and dirt into the seal, and from there into the bearing?

Fitted a seat concepts low seat to the DR. Can now ride for more than 30mins and still feel my ass.

Anyone have any need for original seat foam and vinyl? Free if you come get it, otherwise just gonna throw it out.

If you only get 2k out of a front what do you get out of a rear?
I usually get 9k from a front and 3k rear with 606's (and a lot more with Mitas E07's)

Where abouts did you pick that up? I've only seen them at adventure moto and they only have the carbon finish which I'm not that keen on...

We have brought these seat covers for our DR's and will be probably trying them out next weekend if you can wait that long for a review.

Look good for the price.

Yeah I picked mine up from Adventure moto. It is the carbon/grippy sides but I dont mind it, its pretty subtle.

I just fitted the same seat, the step up is to far forward for me and its like sitting on a plank, I think not worth the money, so I am going to add some foam to the low bit and slightly shave the front of the high bit.
I wish I just bought the standard hight one .
I have a procycle saddle man and its to hard and to wide..

After-market GRIPS on a DR650 rock.

My DR650's got all the extra's. But probably the thing I like most are the after-market handle grips. The standard one's are bloody shit. But the ones I got are soft and nice. Make a markable difference in comfort levels

I ride around Perth, Western Australia, so if any of you NZ are interested in working here you can watch my youtube videos. Though the employment situation is not as good as was a year and a bit ago. Actually employment is very slow and stagnant atm.

Pitty the US didnt default on its debt. That would be a good thing as house prices would fall making them drop to where the should be - AFFORDABLE.
