Thanks for sharing that. Didnt know there was a US rep, or a transportation option. Certainly makes things easier.

Wow. Am I reading that correctly that about $5k would cover bike transport to/from LA and entry fees?

Shit.

Must. Start. Saving.

US agents...

Hi Mike;

If you (or any of the other US Rally riding guys) are interested in getting down to OZ... get in touch with Clive.

He has been down for the race before and knows what the deal is... His son Darren is also a very experienced and knowledgable Rallye/Raid competitor... Dakar etc.

It would be great to see the newfound interest in Cross Country Rallies in the US (especially from the bike scene) translate into some entries "Down Under"... The success of the KTM US/Red Bull guys on the dakar and the legions of US privateers that have taken the Dakar challenge the last couple of years are to be given much credit for the newfound surge of interest... The Australian Safari is... after the Dakar the longest running Rallye/Raid event (2007 is the 20th edition).

I am the scandinavian agent for the Australian Safari (I am an aussie). We have a team of five riders (KTM) that are coming down for the race in August... it would be so cool to have some US guys there too... I know that Casey McCoy has ridden in Oz on repeated occassions the last few years... Be great if he could get Charlie and some of the PAI guys to come down....

regards

Troy C.
