I was thinking late September, early October...time to organize...and to let also other European riders to come... I'll soon post a thread with a poll... to decide when...the location I'd suggest would be a town in the Appennini in my region, the name is still secret but it has a strategical position both for dirt and tarmac roads and for scenic areas...

Hi Friends,

This spring we plan a tour around Italy,

Our route is so:
Bandirma(TR)-Thessaloniki(GR)-Igoumenitsa(GR)-Bari-Naples-Rome-Florence-Venice-Ancona-Cesme(TR) by ferry and ride home.

We will be very very happy if we meet you for a cup of coffee.

Hi buddies,

this may or june we plan to ride around Italy with my wife.

i'm studying the route sometimes, the route for now is like this;


Bandirma(my hometown)TR-Thessaloniki(visiting my beemer friends)GR-Igoumenitsa(GR)-Bari(IT)-Naples(IT)-Rome(IT)
Florence(IT)-Venice(IT)-Ancona(IT)-CesmeTR(by ferry from Ancona)

its around 3.000kms and 12 days

stays are at
Thessaloniki 1 night
Igoumenitsa-Bari ferry 1 night
Rome 2nights
Florence 2 nights
Venice 2 nights
Ancona-Cesme Ferry 2 nights.



i've discovered some friends in Rome and Tuscany, (Hi Tage!)

according to my route i hope we will have the chance to meet other rider friends in Italy...ha?

i appreciate if you give some ideas-can be about anything-to do or not to do..etc.

Hi, I'm Italian and, at the moment, my bike as well (probably going to sell my MV Agusta and buy a BMW F 800gs-now that I see this possibility written, it looks silly.......)
