Red Back Rally, Humula NSW 16th-18th March

Held at Humula 30Km SE of Tarcutta.

Got a leave pass for this one (it took a bit of negotiation)

"$15 entry, limited badges. 24hr licensed club, entertainment on Saturday night, gymkhana, awards, and a raffle with excellent prizes. Catered from 12pm Sat, showers and toilets on site."

Camping out the back of the club in the grassed area.

Its a pretty mellow affair. Catered dinner and breakfast.

I usually head over the Brindabellas and through some nice twisties then Batow and cut down through the forestry roads somewhere between Batow and Tumbarumba.

Its good to support these little towns and the locals are welcoming.

Packy (Hardly D) tried to psyche me out with wheelspin and roar

(Nice fella, bit rough round the edges but ok. He also has a DR (pre '96 ) and races flat track. He has a harley and rides it. I dont have a problem with that)

Oh hey I wasnt having a go at the guy. Just that it was a silly question to ask about a race between a harley and a DR on grass. I assume it was a slow race?

Drag race.

OFbeerman thanks - Bikes are to be ridden. I'm 45 and have never owned a car - two wheels only (3 is OK too).

Still dry west of the divide.

The red backs got lots of sponsors for an impressive raffle $300 vouchers, jackets and stuff.

The tennis courts like most out west are a bit quiet these days.
Egg toss.

The Zed owners took largest club - Only me and Singer were there from this site.

Interesting development from Australias wine industry the 1 litre cask (?) - this one would pack well. Woolies is the place.
