For gawd's sake, can somebody who does own a camera find out where this creation lives and get some pictures ... please.

The suspense is killing me ...

Got an R65LS frame in the mail as I type. An R65LS motor and Huqvarna forks waiting. Now... Need to see how you did it. Where are you located?

I'm rubbing my legs like a cricket in anticipation I think the R65 is the only BMW that the purists won't cry about when you hang a moto fork on it.

no prob.

I like the R65's for GS's, too. I think the jugs were higher on the case, and a shorter stroke, as well, than most other models.

but gawd i would case than pan.

It's a hit!! Great job!!
A couple of questions. What size wheels? You mention using two rear shocks, so I assume you used the R65 swing arm? Did you consider a monolever? How tall at the seat?
Thanks, Udo

18 & 21 inch wheels, I used the r 65 swingarm, was going to go with a single shock but it got to complicated. I bought a 02 Yamaha 426 with no motor in it hopeing to use the forks,Shock,Tank,Seat etc. but only ended up using the forks. The seat hieght is not that bad I can still touch two footed.
I did not raise the rear of the bike that much but by building a new subframe I gave it the apperance of more travel. It does have about 7-8 In.of travel though.
