Thanks Mike, It sure is the best looking cut I've seen but the only thing I really need is a couple of closeups of the trim at the sides of the screen and the shape at the top, I have found the instructions from Yellow pig at the link below so maybe Yellow pig or anybody else who has made the mod could provide the rest of us with the pictures?

TIA
Stefan

Here are the close up pics:

Can't resist.

Here is one of the Fog Lights I just installed, the cyclops driving light (single Hella F-75 driving light) has been on the bike for a while.

Hope this helps!

Aah, thank you Dan.

I'll copy that someday when it's a bit warmer, the thermometer say (-23) degrees Celsius = -9.4 degrees Fahrenheit now tonight..

Cheers
Stefan

Looks like a Harley screen.

Must be effective though.

The photos are great, always good to get a visual on things.

Couple of questions....my cut down screen is of similar size to yours but with a more scalloped side cut and works well for me (wind to shoulder height and clean air at the helmet..I can hear engine noises I never knew I had!) but I'm curious about your vent holes in the screen. Was there a noticeable difference with them and at what speeds did they make any difference? A hard question to answer I know, but any feedback would be appreciated.

Driving light....I assume thats wired to the high beam, the specs look good but how effective is it?

You know, if you were doing a Round the World on a 990, this might be sorta practical.

You'd be sorta lonely the entire trip, but that's another issue.

Ya know, in a strange kind of way, I like this screen. Reminds me of broken down HD's on 395.

I know. I really don't dislike it and I'll bet it is highly functional! I'd like to see one on an SE.

The holes were there from before and did absolutely nothing to improve the air flow. I was just too cheap to buy a new screen.

The FF-75 Hella cyclops light actually works very well. I have it linked to the high beam via a relay and have the fog lights on a 3 way switch so they can be on with the low beams, on w/ the high beam and the cyclops light or off.

The best of all worlds.
