Dont forget this lads, even though 3pm is posted no reason not to kick off some where between 1 and 2 for those that can get there a bit earlier

Laugh RTRA annual social night

The RTRA annual social night and AGM will be held at 6.30pm on Wednesday 19 October at the Oxford Hotel, 386 Oxford Hotel, Leederville.

Yes, it's an AGM - but this year we're making it more of a social occasion; an opportunity to get together for a drink or two, some food and a lot of bench racing!

Naturally we'll update you on the status of the various projects the RTRA is involved in, but we'll also have a guest speaker presentation about riding in Thailand, a wrap-up about how WA is faring in comparison to other states and the opportunity to ask any recreational riding questions, discuss issues we riders face and generally chew the fat with fellow riders.

Date & Time: 6.30-8.00pm, Wednesday 19th October, 2011

Place: The Oxford Hotel, 386 Oxford St, Leederville

Cost: The event is free to all members. (if you are not already a member - why not?? :-) come along and pay your $25 membership fee on the night - have a great night and support trail bike riding in WA and the work of the RTRA)

Food & Drink: Finger food will be provided and a cash bar will operate.

After 8pm, for anyone who would like to kick-on and catch up with other riders, The Oxford has a "Beef & Bevy night which consists of a 300gram succulent sirloin steak, with your choice of either mushroom, brandy pepper or creamy garlic sauce with salad and fries and a complimentary glass of Stella Artois or a glass of Rothbury Red or White wine for only $19.50".

Agenda:

o 6.30pm food and socializing
o 7.00pm Guest speaker, RTRA projects update + AGM
o 7.30pm more food and socializing

RSVP: We need numbers for catering purposes - please RSVP to secretary@rtra.asn.au by Tuesday 10th October.

It's been a big year for the RTRA so why not come along and talk trails with the Committee and fellow RTRA members.

Hope to see you there. http://www.rtra.asn.au

3pm gives you just enough time to watch Casey win in Motegi after getting pole this arvo.
Unless we can get the Broken Hill to put it on the telly, which would make 2pm the go.

There was a choice between some very dull and conservative colours or this KTM Orange - so it was a no-brainer I thought - as this at least reminds me of riding

No new bike for me though - instead the DR farkling is now almost complete with the addition of a Ralle Moto RM2 steering damper, and I've put my name down for a 21 day organized ride ride from Shimla to Leh in India's north west from July 4th to 25th next year - check out the details here and come along if ur keen - http://indianmotorcycletours.com/iti...urs-india.html

Well another beerfest done and dusted, welcomed Steve ( Billie Bogan) along, not sure about the shirt though, like a cross between "where's Wally" and "hello sailor ". Got a good sense of humour though and can dish it out, so awaiting the reply. I got a lot of other photo's of Sages shirt that we all signed but with my record of T-shirt photo's , I won't post them up

The guys that showed up were all talk about the No Name in a few weeks, different routes to get there etc, it's been too long since a decent weekend away.
