You should try staying on the bike. It hurts less.

The problem with the 510 Howard, is that it's capabilities far outweigh my abilities. It can make a shit rider like me look ordinary

New thread perhaps - hope the injuries mend soon (might be time to go back to a KLR?)

For info: more than 60 riders are taking part in the 2012 Postie Bike Challenge and they'll be leaving from Tom Perrot Reserve, McCabe St, Mosman Park just after 0800 on the morning of Sunday, 2 September.

You guys are idiots!
Sorry, just had to share that.

Bully, I hope your foots feeling better but I suspect it won't be. I have one of those trick "velcro on" casts if you need it - left over from one of my many injuries on two wheeled contraptions. Have you ever noticed how people refer to their bike's wheels as the "front wheel" and the "back wheel"? Ever wonder how they came to be called that? Trying to change basic laws like that is like like trying to defy gravity, and as you've been shown that doesn't work.

(Ever notice how when you drop a piece of buttered toast it always lands on the floor butter side down? Put a little butter in your tyres and it'll help them stay pointing at the ground).

(Ever notice how a cat always lands on it's feet? Ever wondered what would happen if you spread butter all over the top of your cat and threw it off a tall building? Ever wondered how alien spacecraft get to hover but make no noise? Ever wonder why ALF is always chasing the cat? Piece it together folks!)
