This site will show you how bad things are in Albany.
I am in Albany now and it's 34 degrees! So weather is great now we have global warming

I think Waitesy has taken a hard knock to the head, it is as Dave said, rubbish weather, stay up where it is warmer, now where is my jumper.

Yeah, we usually manage to have crappy weather over holiday times like Easter so the visitors aren't going home thinking how nice it is in Albany & how perhaps they could move down here.

Kev is now officially a celebrity!
Today's travel lift out in the West has the write up for his India trip.
You can see him 9 in from the left in the group photo.

At least I think so. Kev am I correct?

Thanks for the plug Rob !!!

Nice plug from Rob there - his reference to the Wild Bull Brewery road ride on Sunday stems from a little online social group of (predominantly) road riders that is slowly but steadily forming - see here for ride specifics > http://www.meetup.com/Perth-Motorbik...nts/108675482/

Cheers,

Vince

Sunday Ride

Switched the DRZ back to dirt mode and been given a leave pass for Sunday and the forecast is for rain. Anyone keen? No destination planned as yet and open to suggestions but figured the usual ride through the hills, stop for lunch etc... A couple of guys are in.

Cheers, Richard

Shouldn't really bother you too much, but there's a bit over 1,700 lycra clad cyclists riding the 3 and 5 Dams Challenge on Sunday through the hills. Heads up Greenmount from South Perth then across to visit the Mundaring Weir, Churchmans Brook Dam, Wungong Dam, Canning Dam and Serpentine Dam before heading back via the Freeway to South Perth. Please try not to run me over!

+1

Hi Richard, put me down as a chance of being there (will confirm).

Should I bring a water pistol to move the lycra road hogs over/along?
