Not good news regarding the piston...Rod ,
Looks like it's going to be a bit wet and slippery out there tomorrow guys, have fun.

I've got a few days off next month so I'll take the radiator out of the KLR and take it to get repaired. Not too confident about taking it out and dropping it all over the place whilst it's got a bent radiator. If I do more damage I would have to resort to public transport (Waikiki to Belmont - NO THANKS)

Off topic anyway guys, does anyone here have a drz they use for commuting ? Thoughts ?
I love my KLR for commuting, but after looking at the drz's my bike has just so much expensive plastic to break (I know I can get crash bars and I'm sure I could test their worthiness).
Might even entertain the thought of getting a cheap road bike next year for the commute....hmmmmmm

buy a DRZ for the dirt and keep the KLR for the commute...best of both worlds

Haha. I really don't remember typing the piston broke message. I meant pissed and broke. ie. I'm drunk and cant afford petrol. Besides my mums in ICU so cant go too far from the phone for a few weeks. She'll be right though.
