About 18 or 19 riders in total, and of them 10 had minor offs, including some that had multiple lay-downs. The worst injury was some damaged ribs (no x-rays so unsure if broken or bruised) and that was the result of some drunken horseplay around a campsite after the day's riding had finished

I managed to avoid any offs/injuries for a change - though I did push my luck a few times - those front brakes don't provide much feedback at all ...

Beautiful country to ride through - but don't be deceived by any maps okay! What appears to be a national highway on paper is just a rocky goat track in reality

thanks everyone,

perhaps that was my fault, as i only got back from vietnam last night at 10pm, and my mind was on other things ..

Well sort off, I'm thinking "so if I have deathwings that slip on a spoon full of mud and he's got super knobbies that cake up on a road full, what can be done?"

Initiate project Traction Fest 2013 for the KLR: MT21 front, 606 rear

What an adventure Vince! Great pic of the bike, looks like it could take a few bumps. Haha, drunken horseplay is part of the fun on most big road trips!
