Looks like it's the TTR for me.
Have not managed to separate the inner and out fork tubes,
Stupid yammy special tools! Of to the shops with the forks on Monday.

Valves after 50k were just a tad on the loose side which is quite good. Thought they would have been on the tight side.

yep valves on the loose side more better..... got a 250 while back and would backfire now and again.... was just that one of the exhaust valves was slightly tight (mustn't have been completely closing)
forecasting thunderstorms and damaging winds tomorrow morning

Bit of rain on the radar but not too bad.
Waterproof liners in jacket and pants.
Ready to go.

Any Perth rides this weekend?

Good times! Jay found some slippy wet clay, (ouch), new Yammy got it's first dirt, the old TTR lost front braking and XR650 was packed for refuelling. Cool mix of trails.

Great little ride.

What a perfect day. Stayed mostly dry and was neither too warm or too cold.
5 very different bikes from the very new WR250 all the way back to the TTR250.

Jay was showing us a maze of amazing single track when he decided to show us how slippery the hard pack mud is, scarcely missing a tree.

Apparently he did the splits which his non-gymnastic body did not approve of.

Later on Jays front brake calliper spat it's mounting bolts out. Unfortunately l was riding it at the time. See it was the immensely fun TTR 250 not Jays DRZ400.
Luckily for me I heard the last bolt fall out and saw the calliper swinging in the breeze before things went catastrophic.

Had too stop a second time to retie the calliper and buy the time we got home it looked like this.

Had a blast, thanks guys for a great morning.

Right Mirror sorted
Front calliper re-connected to bike - (with locktite this time)
Clay induced spread legs all good.

When we off again ?

Cheers Jay
