Accessories for BMW R1200 GS Adventure 2010

I'm selling my 2010 Twin-Cam GSA and moving up to a new water-cooled, but down to a GS only (not GSA). The bike itself is advertised in a couple of places and I'll also put it here for all you inmates. I've removed most of the after-market bits, because most people prefer a stock bike that they can 'farkle' themselves. The bike comes with a Wilbers WESA kit and I have also included the original OEM BMW ESA setup with the bike. If the ESA sells here, I'll just remove it from the bike ad.

So here are the bits I'm clearing and you get to look at them first, before they end up on eBay. Please feel free to ask me any questions and I can also make pics available, as required. Also, some of these parts just fit this bike, but most fit any GS/GSA from the past 8 years.

1. BMW OEM ESA Suspension – Front and Rear, Springs and Dampers, less mechanicals and electrics. Used for about 6 months and 10,000 Kms before being swapped out for Wilbers WESA kit. - $800

2. Touratech 6 way Power distribution Board - $25

3. Wunderlich Side stand Enlarger - $20

4. Wunderlich Throttle position Sensor Cover - $25

5. Wunderlich Clutch Master Cylinder Cover - $25

6. Wunderlich Brake Master Cylinder Cover - $25

7. Wunderlich Throttle Lock - $50

8. Wunderlich Front Mudguard Extension - $15

9. Wunderlich Oil Cooler Grille - $50

10. Wunderlich Swing Arm Pivot Cover- $15

11. Wunderlich Steering Stops - $60

12. Ralle Moto Steering Damper – Model RM1, this model replaces the OEM handlebar mounts. - $300

13. GSEmotion – Aluminium Toolbox for inner side of GSA Pannier rack - $80

14. Adventure Bag – Crash-bar Bags (pair) for GSA , adjacent to fuel tank - $45

15. Adventure Designs – Crash Bars. Additional bars that attach to GSA crash bars to further protect heads and cylinder covers - $150

16. Alt-Rider – Bash plate (brushed aluminium). Probably the strongest bashplate on the market, thanks to it’s contoured design. - $180

17. Best Rest – Spray Stopper - $40

18. BMW OEM Headlight Protector, with modified Touratech ‘Glare Brow’ - $55

19. Home Grown – Custom ½ lire Oil Bottle and cushioned bracket for underside of GSA fuel tank. - $40

20. SW-Motech GS Expandable Tank Bag with internal power connections $90

21. SW-Motech Powered Tank Ring for 2010 fuel tanks - $40

22. SW-Motech Powered Tank Ring for 2008 and earlier fuel tanks - $40

23. SW-Motech Un-Powered Tank Ring - $20

24. DDM Tuning – 35W HID kit (6000K) for GS. One pair including bulbs, ballasts, wiring and OEM BMW Covers for rear of headlights (modified for HID wiring). - $50

Thanks for looking.

Sm pro ktm front rim

I ordered this 21 x 1.60 SmPro rim to fit my 950, but it was supplied with the "jap" drill pattern instead of the "euro" drill pattern.
So in theory it should fit all SINGLE Disk Ktms, I have tried it against the on the floor bikes at the local KTM dealer and it appears to fit them.
Rim has never been used apart from getting one side laced.

asking $150 one, prefer local pick, but will post at buyers expense.

PM me for more pics etc

Great Adventure Tourer 2007 KLE

Hi, great 2007 KLE500 is looking for somebody who will actually use it!

24,000 km, regularly serviced, rego until 23/11/2013.

I have done some nice tours with the bike, but in the last two years I have ridden it only to be serviced and back into its cosy garage.

I'd be ready to part from the bike for $4,200. It is located in Lidcombe, NSW (Sydney).

Read on for some more details!

The bike has a few mods that makes it great for longer trips:
- cigarette lighter plug in cockpit
- Ram mounts for Spot 2 and Garmin GPS60 (can be easily changed to whatever gadget you care to carry around)
- Eagle screen
- Pegz footpegs
- Scott Oiler
- Givi Paniers and Top Box

The bike is on Dunlop D606's which are great on dirt and decent on the road. The tyres have at least a few thousand k's still left in them.

PM me if interested.

DRZ400 with the Works - ADV touring ready

Perfect for cruisy back-road touring, off-road exploring, commuting & around town. A light & flickable bike with a gem of an engine.

  • First registered June 2010, 1 Owner
  • ~25,000km ... just run in as they say ... given my riding style & how good these engines are I would expect to get 100,000kms without much of a hassle.
  • Starts instantly, zero oil & coolant consumption.
  • Has been handled gently, road & easy dirt road trips. Getting about 13,000 out of the current rear tyre.
  • Hasn't been revved ... mostly below 6,000rpm (these engines are designed to do 11,000rpm)
  • Frugal & low maintenance. Full service including valves every 20,000km, oil changes/filter cleaning done every 2,500-3,500 mostly.
  • This is the "S" version, slightly de-tuned compared to the "E", very frugal, runs on 91 octane unleaded.
  • Regularly serviced, 2 professional services lastyear. Full service history.
  • Case savers
  • Bash plate
  • Saddlebag racks
  • Safari tank that holds 22+L, giving a range of up to 600 Km ( on a very cruisy trips), usually at least 525 km with my mellow riding style.
  • Windscreen
  • Rego till June 2013
  • Current tyres about 60%, plus 3 new ones (2 rear, 1 front). IRCs, similar to Mitas E07, only stickier and slightly shorter life.
  • Mega sized tool tube, lockable
  • Ventura tail rack
  • Gearsack rack bag, well-used but functional
  • FMF Q4 muffler, dyno'ed
  • Tacho/hour meter
  • Radiator guards
  • Spare tubes
  • Hand guards
  • Fuel filter & filter sock @ tank inlet
  • Lockable tank cap
  • Handlebar riser
  • Home-made headlight protector
  • Footpegs lower than standard
  • Cigarette lighter power socket, conencted to switch off with the ignition
  • Tubes "slimed" for puncture prevention
  • Current gearing 15-46. Standard is 15-44
For more detail & pics have a look at Located in Hobart, Tasmania, Oz.

Asking $5,150 ono.

Please PM or find my email at the website in the sig line.

More than happy to answer any questions, provide more pics, whatever.

:-) dq.

Gearne sg 10 boots size 12 Swap or sell

Foe sale $260 or swap. These are in very good condition, cost $550, they are too big for me at size 12. I would swap for something simular at size 11. If swapped then It would be a try it on first for both parties. If sold then I will refund if not happy with them.

OD's shed clean out Part 3 - random crap

2005 centennial model Triumph Daytona 955 motor. As you can see it comes with the throttle bodies and the other jewelery like starter motor, injectors etc. Has a spun bearing on the exhaust camshaft from memory and may have a spun main bearing, never stripped it down that far. Ideal as a parts engine to upgrade the innards of a 955 Tiger to Daytona specs or for use in a special build. Doesn't have the computer etc though. $200 ono pick up from Mudgee

Set of brand new genuine Honda purple (although they appear blue in the pics) side covers to suit an early XR honda. Bought from a vender in the US via ebay as 1990 model XR600 side panels, however they are incorrect. It says to suit "85 XR350 on the packaging so...guess that what they fit? Asking $70 for them which is what I paid. Happy to slip them in the post for you
