I am interested in the tires.

Did you say you work in Boulder? I can meet you there.

How tall are the kids who are outgrowing the TTR50? My boy has shown some passing interest in motos, but not enough for me to pull a trigger.

Touratech Garmin GPS60CSx Mount

I have a Touratech Garmin 60CSx mount with the RAM Mount and handlebar attachment up for sale for that special someone for Christmas. Awesome setup. New these go for $151.00 from Touratech and the RAM Mount is like $30 or so.

First $65.00 takes it. For best results...PM me as I will be on and off the computer.

My son rode a CRF50 (very similar the the TTR50) until he was 7 1/2, moved to a CRF80 for a year then to a KTM85SX when he was 8 1/2. He's 9 1/2 and about 4' 8" now.

My boy is 8 and a bit short for his age.

The thing that they grow out of, in my opinion is leg room. Once they hit a certain height they can't cram their leg into a riding position without ending up with their toes pointed directly at the ground, where a toe strike can be pretty risky. This is especially true if they wear MX boots.
