The main issue is water on the wick. Diesel from has stations has a lot of water. To combat this...use HEAT. There is info on the net.

They are bullet proof but need love now and then. Easy to work out and very warm heat with a good wick. People usually dump them because they think it's too hard to replace the wick. It's not.

Diesel? Very interesting. I'll have to look into that. Maybe I'll hang on to this puppy! My new place doesn't have heat in the garage so it might come in handy.

I found a survivalist guy online who sells wicks and has tons of information about servicing these units. The wick on this one can be trimmed and adjusted.

I'll be putting a lot of other stuff up over the next month or so. Some not ready for sale yet, but will include.

1999 Yamaha WR450F modded
1988 Honda XR 200R
1988 Toyota HJ61 Land Cruiser - RHD Turbo Diesel
1988 BMW K75S
Some MC riding gear - Motoport, Aerostich etc
1998 Land Rover Discovery parts vehicle

Let me know if you have any questions about the above. I could be convinced to get some items ready for sale sooner than others.

I'll take the spin bike. Check your PM

The guy out of Oregon has a lot of info...he is not a fan of diesel...but a fan of Kerosene. Karo is full proof with no water. Trimming the wick works. I found some as cheap as 7 bucks on fleabay. Personally, a natty gas heater is the way to go but money. But....cheap to run.

Bump.

First generation Suzuki V-strom DL650/1000 gel seat. Great shape, except for a few minor wear spots as shown in the pictures.

Asking $60 (Dropped from $100) for it, and would rather not ship this since I don't currently have a box that will fit this. If someone needs it bad enough though, we can figure something out I suppose.

8GB Zune for sale.

It works great, and has been used minimally since I purchased it new a few years ago.

I just don't use it anymore.

Asking $40. Box and everything that came with it will be included as well.

Nikon 55-300 VRII DX lens - $375

Nikon 55-300 4.5-5.6 VRII AF-S DX lens, $375.
Bought this saturday, used it at the hillclimbs saturday/sunday after my primary lens fell apart friday afternoon.

http://www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/55-300mm.htm

Pretty much what you see right there. This one's basically brand new. Box, all the paperwork, baggies, hood, etc.

I can post pics and a handful of shots I took through this lens if anyone cares to see them, but I shit you not it's no different than something sitting on the store shelf right now. Paid $429.99 at D&D Camera in Jackson Wyo.

Photo off wikipedia...

I have a set of Givi E21 Monokey sidecases I want to sell. The guy I bought them from lowsided his bike when these were on his bike but patched up the side that took the blow pretty good with some sort of fiber and epoxy mix. The fix is solid, and I just added a little gorilla tape around the perimeter to keep it that way.

Asking $65 for the set. I have a few spare keys to go with these.

PM with questions or interest, thanks!

Would you take $150 for all 3? I am in Longmont.
