need help finding tracks in LA area

Hello everyone,

I bought AceRph’s KTM 625sxc a few weeks ago. We slapped the street slicks on it and gave a few ducati’s a run for their money in the canyons and that was just my first day of real riding! I love this bike.

Now I can’t wait to put the knobbies back on and see what she can do on the trail. I want to plan a weekend camping trip that’s nothing but trail riding...

I’m going to start doing a bunch of research of places to ride near the Los Angeles area, or within riding distance of downtown (no trailer). Thought I would start here and see if there was anyone with tracks already laid out that might be able to help me out.

Thanks guys! Any info helps.

Is Mulholland still dirt 2-3 miles west of the 405 fwy all the way over to the Ocean? How about going up to Angeles Crest HWY -- plenty of FS roads there... Try going to an REI store and picking up a map --the mountain bikers use them and they have all the FS roads/trails on them...

That part of Mulholland is specifically prohibited for motor vehicles per posted signs.

You need to surf down a copy of the SMTS trails, pack up your camping gear and go have a blast. Three thousand miles of continuous hoots.

Better to go the GPSXchange.com for my Statewide Motorized Trail System

Also read all about it on SMTS.Info

You have to Register and then the "gpx" files will show up.

Unlike non-Private Library files, after registering, you can download my stuff without first posting a file.
