88 NX125 in vancouver area
cant afford to keep this really nice bike--with ICBC and all trying to keep me broke. We would like to see it go to someone who will appreciate it (i have a hard time parting with my babies). this is technically the wifes bike. here is some info on it and a pic
1988 Honda NX125 dual sport—RARE
what we have here is a fairly rare Honda dual sport from 1988. The NX125’s were only imported to NA for 2 years, cause no one quite knew what to think of dual sports back then. Of course now they are all the rage. This one is super pristine, low use example from the high desert in the US and always garaged. We brought this up from the US, and it only has 918 miles on it (that’s only 1477km or 77.8km per year). All registered and legal in BC. This one is super nice—all original. We are actually the 3rd owners, always owned by women. Don’t think you will find a nicer example anywhere. This one even has the ultra rare factory rear rack. Basically a baby transalp. Perfect for the Vancouver area commuter and super good on gas, approximately 125 mpg or 50km per L.
$2500 or best offer. Come take a look and ride away in style.

wow - nice bike
I have recently had my ride stolen from me and I saw your ad here.
I am on V.I. and will need to wait until the end of April until I get money from ICBC...or hopefully my ride back....and then will want to replace it.
I have a few questions for you....that is if your bike isn't sold yet.
1. What do you like best about it.
2. What do you like least about it.
3. I am 180lb, do you have springs that would suit me?
4. I will be new to riding offroad, although I learnt riding offroad in '85 and have 11 years mountain biking experience.
5. I want to travel...say down to Oregon area. How is this 125 like on the road....I could also dedicate my summer to exploring the island too....but tell me top speed it "likes" if you can?
Thank you so much for your time...

Well, I'm in Arizona,, But I have a NX125 up for sale at 1K US. It has a few scratches and scuffs, the seat cover isn't original, but can't be beat for a grand.
PM me if anyone's interested. We get a lot of Canadian Snowbirds down here so there might be a way to get it up to y'all.
...Nowhere to go, and all day to get there...
