Here's a link to a fly fishing thread that could be tied together with the trip.

Due to underwhelming interest, the ride is now postponed until further notice...or until someone decides to put the paddles to it and bring 'er back to life.

my ride card is filled for most of this year already.. doing at least one 3-5 day ride every month from April through August.. haven't planned anything for September through November yet though

September is usually the Gifford Pinchot camp and ride on the WA_DSR list so I'm setting sites on that one

Hey JetMechAndy!

I do make the rounds. I'm mainly trying to build up the local community because there are so many great people around here...that don't know one another or ride alone, etc. There's more fun and strength in community! Why should the HD guys enjoy more community than the DS riders? Once it gets going a bit stronger, I’ll probably slow down the posting a bit. Springs is another guy with his heart in the right place on the same subject.

Sun Valley is one of my favorite spots. It's next to Ketchum, Hailey, and Bellevue in essentially the middle of Idaho. The fishing is great out there!

Try a GOOGLE Map of Ketchum and away you go! It's a cool spot with lots of 4-season activities, the odd movie star or pro athlete strolling down the path, and good clean fun all nestled in a town that likes to party. Check it out!

Just a little ride

If your route comes near Lewiston on the 23rd, 24th , I could ride for a ways. I have to get things ready for about 150+ people for dinner in my yard on the 30th so I won't be able to go overnight. About 150-200 miles or so on one of the legs of your trip? If you would like local company for 150 miles or so, let me know. The leg towards southern Idaho and Sun Valley would be of more interest to me.
