Might have missed an earlier thread, but is anyone else going to the LB BMW Open House this weekend? I'm planning on going and was hoping I might be able to meet a few other riders out there!

I test rode the X motard version at Irv Seaver open house last Sunday. I wanted to ride the Xcountry but it was already booked up, but wasn't. They need to fix their reservation system but that's another post. I tried to sit on the X offroad version and I still could not touch the ground. Not even close. My HP2 is lower or they have the air shock over full, but I found it the same as the one at the Bike Show. So how does the X motard ride. Like CRAP. I guess it's just me but I hate the Rotax motors. And in this version it vibrates even more then the F650 I had. Everything about this bike felt cheap. I think this would be fine at $5000 maybe. And what is it with the hard as a rock seats? We rode 25 minuets and my butt was killing me. The only thing I found good about this thing is that it does feel lite, powerful and didn't surge. Just my opinion, so don't flame me. But I just can't get past how cheap it feels riding it, more like a Chinese import...less like a BMW or KTM or Triumph or....
LKN4DRT were these X's what you wanted a report on?

I'll probably be there about noon.

Gonna hit the Rock Store for breakfast at 7:30 or so and get a little ride in first.

I live about 10 minutes from the dealer so it's on the way home.

long beach's open house was ok..... the best part about the open house was the hula hula dancer..... she was cute.....ooppss... i forgot .... then there was the beautiful Gina!!!!!

the new f650..... me no likey....
