Road to Hana, Remember! It's the journey not the destination. Stop often

I did that ride on a rented Honda 750 Shadow with forward controls this summer. Yowza! It was an experience.
5f? Is that like riding down a 90 degree cliff face into a lake of fire? I thought 4f was bad. Abdelhub

Great pix!

I'm from Hawai'i (grew up in Hilo on the Big Island, later lived in Kailua on O'ahu)... and you're making me way homesick.

Thumbs down Feral Goats and Pigs

I did a Goggle search of Hawaii feral goats. I found out the the goats were brought to Hawaii by man 200 years ago.

The feral pigs and goats are a very big environmental problem.

I copied this from Rare Hawaii " Goats are one of the world's worst invasive species, known for eating plants down to the roots, leaving nothing but dust in their wake. This is a recipe for erosion that prevents the plants from recovering and chokes the reefs with silt.

Hawaii's goats have no natural enemy except man.
