First time there...
Explored solo a bit w/the Green DRZ. First of three "loops" I made. Other 2 are mostly single track - won't fit the R12GS between the trees!
I'd take my GSA on the first loop certainly, but there are spots of deep sand everywhere which can wake you up and quick, especially w/the heavier bike. Mapsource Topo has nearly all the 12GS rideable routes shown, so just go w/no plans and navigate! For others w/barely legal plated (maybe noisy) bikes, low profile is recommended here as it is a multi-use area (horses, hikers, 4x4's) and rangers have a drz400 to patrol. TIP: I found out if it has paint marks on the tree, get off - it's a hiking trail.

Hmm, people sure are getting all fired up in here.
![]() At any rate, the Pine Barrens are pretty rad. Do your research first, though. It's easy to get lost in there and a lot of it doesn't have cell coverage. And watch out for the Pineys!
