Yeah this is a bit of a bugger. At least they ship Bridgestone as well as i run these on the 450.

Just to confuse the matter i have a 403 bridgestone on the front of the DR at the moment, it hangs on in the dirt like you wouldn't believe, doesn't wear well though

Got a nice parcel coming from RMATV this week too

I'm back.

So, almost 6 months after stacking my pushbike and breaking my hip (exercise is bad for you!), I went for my first big ride today!

Wife on her XT 250 and I went up through Ridgeway, over Huon Road through Neika (past the crash scene), Longley, Halls Gap Road to Kaoota, Pelverata then to Channel Highway to Cygnet, Gordon etc. Lunch at Kettering then back to Hobart.

150km later, I'm feeling it, but it's good to be back on the road. Bike was laid up for 6 months, so got a full service a week or so back, and is running like a charm.

So Tawnaunty, this bud's for you!

Both of these still hold on pretty well to the tar.

Grip heaters. I have used this type for years, very good and on torpedo 7 for 20 bucks

Put a layer of electrical tape over the top so you don't damage them when changing grips.
+1 and the T63 rear

i did Motard(DR650) on the MT21's D606's and the T63 i have little fear of the tyres letting go on the road in just about any conditions

i would like to try an E09 rear just to see how they wear

Thought you'd like that!

Not sure on the East Coast, would like to just do an over nighter, but work will be the deciding factor, it's windy I'm busy!

Next weekend sounds good I have spoken to JDRedrider and he's keen also, Bone Shaker is a possibility.
I will give Iva Biggin a call and see if he is up to a ride.
I'm keen for a ride if there's going to be a good dose of mud and general crud. Will be good to catch up with some inmates I have met, and meet some more. Don't care where to and happy to camp. Fire would be good - either campfire or pub fire.

Been there and done that Dalberg, when you was still in nappies.
Are you saying that I am slow? I like a bit of healthy stirring of the old fellas every now and then.
Retails on Conti's are the same everywhere as they are set by the Supplier. I don't believe any shop would fit for free and dispose of your old tyres as the tips charge like a wounded bull for tyre disposal.
