Incredible report! It would be in a dreamland if my wife would/could ride like yours.
Great pics and story. I spent 2 weeks in your fine country in February 2006 on a GS. Rode from Cape Town to Joburg. Had an absolutly fantastic time! |

such a great and complete report. wonderful pics and narration makes it very involving. all of the sudden i not only wish i could experience such a trip but also feel like a calrsberg - good danish beer which is as rare in the states as ride reports from africa on adrider. fantastic.

I've enjoyed your "Goat Meat" thread and am very impressed how you manage to go border to border without having stuff go missing. Do you wear a money belt or have some Rand notes zip-tied to the bike frames?
It appeared that swiping an American Express card was not often an option...

I cannot even begin to imagine your skillset to understand currency, politics and logistics in the various countries you traveled. BRAVO!
