Good Question!

I can't imagine why anyone would sell their 950 ADV, unless they had to for whatever reason. I will NEVER sell mine unless I have no choice.
It is the most versitile bike ever built, I just love mine except for very nasty single track and steep rocky hillclimbs. Having a 2nd set of wheels for the knobbies makes it even sweeter!

I like the D606 or MT21 on the front.

The rear, anything with any knobs on will do; Desert, TKC 140 & 150, Heidenau and even the Scorpion will work. For this ride I was testing a Mitas E09 130, (it is easily the worst DS tire I've had, but then it was designed for the 650's. For sand its pretty good though. It just can't take tar or hard pack. I believe a 140 & 150 are coming out soon).

Tire pressures; I seldom change air pressure. But if you are nervous in sand then air down a bit. F-1.5 R-1.2.

I'm thinking we need to exchange bikes and riding places for a while, you'll love it here. I'd love to come to trail a bit with you.
