Cosenza Area - Praia al Mare/Maratea area (1 night)
Praia al Mare/Maratea area - Paestum (1 night)
Paestum - Amalfi Coast/Sorrento Peninsula area (1 night)
Amalfi Coast/Sorrento Peninsula area - Castelli Romani area (near Rome) - (1 night)
Lake Bracciano Area (1 night)
Lake Bracciano Area to Civitavecchia and Ferry to Barcelona (overnight and most of next day)
By my count that is about 38 nights.
As well, I have allowed a few days at the beginning in Barcelona to acclimatize and for careful checking out of the bike. Also about a week there on the end to chill out and service the bike. So say another 10 nights making it about 48 nights. That's 6.9 weeks give or take. I have a window of about 47 days plus an additional 7 days on the end if needed.
Doable? Any great things on or near this routing that shouldn't be missed? Short-changed any particularly beautiful spot? Riding two up with gear.

All constructive comments much appreciated. Cheers!

Sounds great.
A easier pace than when I did Corsica-Sardinia-Sicily-Calabria-Puglia-Greece once.

If you're into nice ruins, Segesta and/or Selinunte are worth seeing after Trapani.

Thanks for the suggestions DavidM. Been checking out UTube for those sites. If you live five times you could just begin to scratch the surface of these places.
Sounds like you had a great ride.
Last summer rode Germany-Austria-Slovakia-Hungary-Romania-Bulgaria-Turkey-Greek Isles-Greece-Puglia/Basilica. No hunger, sadness, or thirst.

I must do those islands again one day, missed loads. It was one of my best trips, 11 Mediterranean islands (7 of them in the Aegean across to Kuşadası); 10 weeks to get to Ankara and 1 week to get home, 22 years ago.

I abandoned the idea of visiting Tunisia because Sardinia and Sicily were so scorchio hot in July.

You're going to have a great time, I'm envious.

Program is good, even very good.
Don't forget to climb Etna , and if possible spend some time on Eolian Islands - Lipari and Salina are more than worth the detour

Grazie GiorgioXT. Had been thinking about including those two islands. You have convinced me on the idea. A friend was there recently and really enjoyed the experience. Is it easy to take the bike on that ferry? All the best.

Yes , no problem for ferry , there is also a SIREMAR ferry that do Milazzo -> Napoli stopping nearly at all islands.
Another hint : in Calabria ride also to the Sila mountain also because the contrast (seems like alps) with the sea is interesting

Edit , I'd rather cut two days at Alghero , and spend at least one in the Sud-West Sardinia coast, particularly Buggerru, Isola Sant'Antioco and the old coal mines area.
