Sardeles and minis for all

Hello Laromonster, my family is from Lesvos but I haven't been there the last 8 years.. It would be great to visit the island again after all these years for an off-road tour..

Storage In Athens

Hi all; Just wondering if anybody can recommend a safe storage place in Athens for a period of 2 months. (2 A.T.'s and 1 DL1000) Also will need to replace our rubber. Anyone know a dealer who sell ANAKEES or similar quality tires? We will travel to Iran and onwards & will need to replace our rubber before start-up from Athens.

Much obliged,

Willem

Hello Willem,

For your rubbers there are quite a few place where you can change them. You can check This (the only one i found with a website in English) but if you let us know few days before your arrival the exact tyres you want, we could search for the shop with the best prices :)

Unfortunatelly I don't know any place for storing the bikes for so long time.

Cheers,
Marinos

Hi

I do agree with the above site for tyres. They do have stock. But since you will leave bikes for 2 months I think availability of Anakees is not a problem.
For prices more or less the differences from store to store are approx 10euro +/-.

For storage: I could propose the parking place I use for my own bikes.
Closed area, dedicated car/moto parking facility around 40/50 euro per bike per month. Security guards 24x7.
When you decide please sent message.

Re; Storage in Athens

Thanks for your information Marinos,

We still have 6 months before departing Canada so I hope to have a response from someone regarding storage within that time.

I am reading here a lot of requests from foreigners want to travel/cross Greece about nice places and routes. I think we (as Greek Secta of ADVRider) could post some routes with some kind of photo/road/map info to help them.
That would be awesome. If you have any favorite roads, please let us know!

foreigners travelling to Greece

Hi there Greek riders!!!
We foreign riders travelling to Greece are always very pleased (and grateful) if you can give some advice about our future journeys to Greece. When planning a trip a good piece of advice from a local is more helpful than any guide book.
I am planning a trip to Greece this June and I came across some difficulties. My trip is from Poland to Rhodes with a stop on Kos (I'm not only a rider but also a keen surfer). I have a problem finding a valid timetable for ferries from Thessaloniki to Rhodes or Kos.
Another thing is camping. Are there any campsites open on Rhodes and Kos? Where can I get current information?

Thanks in advance

Hello ehoo. I don't know if the summer timetables for the ferries are available yet. I'll have a look and let you know!
