KLR seat cover from Wal Mart

Well, now that I am an official owner of a KLR650, I decided to go to WalMart (in true KLRista fashion) and see what I could find. To my surprise lo and behold there sat this ATV seat pad cover. It looked perfect for the KLR. Got home, and it WAS perfect for the KLR...it fits like a glove! Honestly, it is almost like this cover was made for a KLR seat. It makes things REALLY comfy! It utilizes 3 different straps that wrap under the seat and use those plastic cilps like you find on backpacks as connectors. Best part is this cost me $14.

Hell, now I have togo to wal mart again this week ! I haven't seen them at the local wally world but I'll definitely be on the lookout for one to put on my old xl600. Did you find it in the sporting goods section ? I have to be cheap, I'm always broke !

A little Armor All might really bring out the shine, too!

Just kidding...looks like a good find.

I bought one from these guys http://www.sportsmansguide.com/cb/cb.asp?a=275600 for $35.00.. I am felling a little abused right now if wally world has em for $14.
works like a charm on my dr650.
very comfy in the 100 miles i put in with it attached to my butt.
a must have bargain for $14.00.
makes the seat about an inch or so wider and taller.

That's awesome for $14! A true KLR Farkle. Now you just need a set of those Camo Tank Panniers they sell

I like the price, I like the look and I'd probably like the comfort. However, it looks like it'd raise the seat height by about an inch - and that's a deal breaker for me. I'm giving serious thought to a lower saddle, no way I can add an inch of seat height. Looks like a great way to go for the guys who've got the inseam to pull it off.
