destination advice please

Hi all,

I have six days free next week and am going to load the camping gear up on the DR650 and go somewhere for a ride.

All i need now is a destination.

Having not actually been anywhere , other than an overnight trip in the past , i am looking for suggestions on destinations

So , can anyone suggest where I can go that will take me three days out of Brisbane and three days back,
with some camping sites and not just involve riding up and down major highways.

Over to rathdowney, with a side trail up to christmas creek on the first night, second night at my house ( if you like ) through border ranges national park, then cambridge plataue ( spelling? ) down old grafton road, between highway and summerland way then to Jackadgery and Mulligan Hut, then along the convict road ( old grafton to glen innes road ) through Dalmorton and the old convict tunnel.

Back up through Warialda and through to tenterfield then rathdowney again on the way home.

70% dirt road 30% tar.

Duck out to nindigully and lightning ridge.
Plenty of dirt options to get there and the camping at nindigully is free, the food is good, and it makes a good few days ride.

Where you from in wales taf? From caerphilly here... Well machen really but close enough in case not south wales.
