Ride to middle earth "5MOH"

Our trip to middle earth stats at White Wash Sand Dunes UT.
I bought a xr4 so i could run 5 Miles of Hell the hardest
trail in UT.I knew this ride was going to kick my ass!!

The trail starts off fast dry river bed.The sand was deep and dry.

Things start to get interesting!!

Lots of tough climbs!!

Then it gets really steep!!!
This shot by wes one of the best shots of the trip!!!

I rode this wheelie out held on and landed it.
I had it back so far it ripped my plate off.

This set of photos was great!!!

opps

Looking down!!!

Going up.

Heres paul and I he is a local enduro racer!!

Paul was the only one of us that got his bike out
by him self!!! Great job paul "Thanks for the help"

Wes was up next!!!

The bike pinned him to the ground and he need help to get the bike off!

Paul helped wes w/ this climb.

Even w/ two guys it was a bitch!!

The ride out back to the truck was fast single track!!

Back to the wash!!
We all mad it out w/ out any problems!!

What a great day of riding!!!
More to come

Great pics, and looks like you had a real good time!
Could I ride this on my trials? Would that make it a "no-dab"?
Is it really 5 miles long, or is my 1 gallon tank too small? I can go 25 miles....
Keep those p[ics coming!

SWeeet! I rode 5MOH last spring. My weapon of choice was the Honda 230, completely stock. For me this was the perfect bike. Look like you guys had more than enough fun . I can't wait to do it again!!

Oh, 5MOH is REALLY 8.3, plus 5mi from Twin Knolls and then the return ride?? So you may want to carry some fuel, IDK.

wow,

you havemy respect and admiration.

I have done 5 moh many times but always on my trials bike ("02 280 gas gas) ialways carry extra gas, 32 oz or so. It looks like too much sweating for me on my 450exc. Nice job!!!!!!!!

That wheelie pic should be front page material.

Great pic's. I've ridden it in both directions on a DRZ400 and found the bike handled it well as long as you kept it upright! Looking forward to returning on my KTM300. Here's a link to a great 5MOH video- the best I've seen yet on the internet. Hope the link works.
