Great Ride yesterday

A big thanks for yesterday MasterBrewer, Sundowner, MikeF and Turborob. I had a great time and I hope this noobie did not slow you down too much. By the end of yesterday I had done just over 400kms and the bike is now due for its 1000km service . I could not help myself and had to wash it last night (thank god for that as I am buggered today) so it is shiny black again.

Catch you soon!!!

Yer all Nutters! With my luck, I'd get two flat tyres a quarter of the way across and then have my tank cap fall off. Bloody nice move. Anyone ever almost get it wrong?

Not that one but there is the BIG rail bridge that goes across the top of the gulf at Port Augusta, it would be 30 foot high. Legend has it there is a XL250 at the bottom of the gulf from a failed attempt. And recently a local MX gun was going across and a gust of wind got him. He had to get two scuba divers to fish out his YZ250. He reckons he nearly drowned trying to get out with the weight of his boots and helmet etc.

Love that Video Kipo :) Got a mate with a DR650 - he has no excuse to do similar now.

I know everyone is very excited about this......

My new suspension components arrived yesterday, and my new wheel is somewhere over the pacific. Tranny fix and we are good to go :)

Great ride Monday. Here's a few pictures from the day.

Top view.

A thank you to all riders who slowed down as my bike did. It was really donald ducked. Running good again - air filter hadn't been cleaned in 10K and was choking the bike. It was absolutely filthy.

If you said throw fishing gear, cooler and swag on the bike and head somewhere to get out of the bloody city for a night, I'd be in it. Yorke Peninsular one day soon maybe?
