Hope you are settling in well Graham, you guys in SA have an asset in Graham put him to good use (he's very handy with the map!)

Hey Pete, maybe we should organise a 'welcome aboard' ride. I know it's close to Christmas an' all, but I need to bed in the suspension on the Tenere once I pick it up from Hoey, probably Monday, and I'm very eager to see how it travels.

I see that GG has got a stable of BMW's, do we need to carry any special tools, emergency beacons, coffee grinds??

Got a couple of commitments down at the shack over the next few weeks though, had a flexihose let go under the sink on the top floor early in the week (for a few days ).....so me and the insurance company have some dancing to do.....but I might be able to take part in something.

I guess we could also think about a mid-week ADV Christmas drink up at One Tree Hill??

BUT! OTH pub sounds good!

Thinking of doing a ride down at the beach at Goolwa in coming weeks.

Need to get in some practice on soft sand with the Big Girl.

Will post a date on case anyone's interested. Could finish off with a ride down the Fleurieu or back of Meadows.

Let's see what happens. Am working outside today and might put in some time on the DRZ400E.......looks like I've decided to sell it, not riding it and just spent $450 on rego....this is gonna hurt, big time.

Sell the DRz what are ya gunna do the PARs on?

I just let my DRz rego run out & when I need it I'll just whack 3 mths on it over the Internet.
A cheaper way of doing it.

Would like to see that, worst part is getting from the carpark to the beach through the dunes, after that you should be fine.

Last time I let my bike rego run out for a while the nice people down at the rego dept. sent me a letter saying if you're not going to register your bike we want our number plates back, I guess this is their way of getting you to rego your vehicle wether you're using it or not, it worked, nice scam hey, gotta love that crafty gubberment.

I've got one of mine on seasonal rego. Bike has to be registered for a minimum of 3 months per year. Organised over the phone with transport SA.

Hi everyone,

Just moved back to Adelaide and looking for people to go riding with, keen any day of the week, looking for offroad riding, enduro type stuff, although used to live in Adelaide 10 years ago I don't really know where the tracks/trails are etc, so happy to tag along on a ride if someone is going learn the spots. Hopefully picking up a bike this week, KTM 450.

And if anyone is interested in a adventure riding story see my blog below.
