Welcome to SA, it's so good here we like to keep it a secret, keep the Riff Raff out 'n all.
Haven't you got a young fella that rides as well?

I will call in & say howdy when I'm down that way for sure.
In the meantime there's a few things for you to be thinking about,

Flinders Classic in April, DRTrev will be along to explain...

Still the best panniers out there
Hi mate,
Thanks for the welcome. I finally got to stop my day job & we made the move. The whole place is a best kept secret, just loving it. Nearly made it to Tea Tree Gully the other week but couldn't quite find the time after just moving - it has taken a while. 3 seperate trips & still going backwards & forwards a bit. Few more months & i should have plenty of riding time - can't wait.

Jesse (Pejie junior on here) is staying in WA - girlfriend, works really good etc but I reckon you will see him around from time to time.

Steel Pony has been on hold for quite a while but we should be able to start back in the next few months, still depends on canvas supply. Glad you like them.

Call in for sure, I'll PM my phone number. One of the things we liked about the place we bought is there is somewhere for friends to stay. Previous owners called it the studio, it might end up the bunkhouse.

Welcome Pete. That's a nice part of SA down there. Once a year I take a bike down to our shack on the South Coast and tour all those back roads on that side, and end up having lunch at Cape Jervois. Great day.

Keep your eyes peeled for two crazy brothers on big SE KTM's who hail from around there. They are mad, and as an example for you, on the Flinders Classic last time, the older, sillier one of them wore out a new rear tyre in 700 kms. Beware!

If you use PBee's link above and have a look at the Classic, you might find it interesting, plus there will be over 100 riders there next time around, it would allow you to meet most of the SA crew. The riding ranges from public access routes which better suit smaller bikes (but big bores still get through) to open high speed trails and anything in-between - all your choice.

Again, welcome...

Thanks for the welcome Trev & Emuooz. Yeah, it has taken us a long time. I'm a sniff the flowers kind of rider so I mightn't even see the mad bro's disappear in the distance. Looking forward to more time & catching up with the riders over here. I'll check out all the rides.

I can just imagine the frantic activity in the TDM engine room as the deckies were shutting the dampers, engaging reverse thrust and throwing her hard right rudder in a frantic effort to get the old girl to turn in time
