Yeah, see it Andy, It is a possibility. There is another one I'm keen on but when I rang the owner he is away for 2 months plus I have a figure in mind for his but I'm not sure if he'll take my offer.

Flinders trip

Spoke to navigator PBee today. Looks like our Flinders trip will leave from two points, one being Gawler and another in the northern Hills, but meet at Truro before heading north. Longest fuel distance required is 300 Kms, and seeing as most of us have tanks to cater for that and some of us have 12 litre bladders, we should be able to look after anyone on the cusp of running out.

Yunta accommodation is booked, as is everything at Ango.

Gawler meeting time and place to be posted....

Any queries, give Pete or myself a call.

Cheers

Bugga, no BMW's coming either, so a half decent coffee is out of the question too......

The only one I know about is the 'Mulgaria Track' which heads north from Andamooka goes around Lake Torrens past Mulgaria Station past Witchelina Station then heads east and comes out at Farina, from where you can head north to Marree.

You need permission from Mulgaria Station to do it which is now owned by BHP but leased to the previous owner Rob Savage. I think north from Andamooka to the Stuart Creek opal field turn off (fongy's picture) may be public and past Witchelina is public access but Mulgaria in the middle requires permission.

Handy sign that one.
