Bit of a shame this happens, reflects on us all.

copied from the 24Hr web site...

STOP PRESS

Thanks to a group of unthoughtful riders in recent times, we have now been excluded from using 2 properties for the 2014 event and highly likely any future use also. It has been reported to us by both land owners that a group of unauthorised riders left gates open and also scattered stock while one of the owners was trying to move them “on his own property”! This is not an isolated occurance. We have had similar issues in previous years also. For this event to continue into the future we need assistance and not hinderence. As I’m sure any track organisers out there will agree, it is getting increasingly difficult to maintain existing land yet alone source new land. We as the track committee of the 24hr trial (some of which are land owners also) take this issue VERY seriously. Therefore we are publicly asking anyone with any knowledge of who may have been involved with this group ride near Truro on Sunday 25th May to notify any member of the 24hr committee for further follow up, or via this website

Have sent them an email to maybe check what CCTV they have at the servo at Truro and whether they keep it on a big hard drive or server.......might help.

I saw this a few weeks ago and did a bit of 'fishing' on another site to no avail.

I'd say check the bakery as no one can pass it by. Wasn't my group as we have not been out there for a while.

More than likely won't be someone on here.

Supporting RFDS

Our riding mate Bernie is running a car in the upcoming Gawler to Stradbroke Island Outback Odyssey which is supporting the RFDS. It's supposed to be like a 'bash' but Bernie tells me he wants to win it......wait till you see the car...

He's having a $50 food and drink night at the Willaston Football Club here in Gawler Friday night 27 June. Door prizes, raffles and an auction for hot laps at Mallala in his race prepared Porsche...... Similar to the Shane Diener Dakar night.

Promises to be a great night.

Tickets are available through me via this site...PM etc.

I guess it's not like we ever use the Flying Doctor! So, that means that Kym Menadue and I will be there.....

I'll buy a ticket as a donation Trev but I can't be there, as we're pre running the Postie ride in the Flinders. Send me how I pay.

Cheers

I only had an hour free this morning, so I belted out there and got a couple of quick pics. Would have loved to spend the rest of the day there.........

I do remember seeing your back at one stage.
It's a shame I couldn't stay and see some of the back sections. Did you get any further in than that first gully?
And how'd you go getting out of there? I was in a normal car and it took me 3 runs to get out.

It was good seeing the kids out there. Especially one girl who was grinning from ear to ear the whole time. And another little girl that grabbed an handful of front brake and went down, but jumped straight back up and got going again still smiling!
