No worries about tomorrow Sundowner there will always be another day.

By the way I've seemed to have solved my fueling problems by discarding that large fuel filter with a direct line from the fuel pump to the carby and instead placed a small in line filter between the tank & the pump. The motor also sounds sweeter & economy has also improved too ???

Did you memorise the route, Stuart, or at least mark the corners with a trench?
yes I did leave a few irrigation trenches just in case I needed to find my way home, I even managed to keep my pants on all day, now my socks are dry.

Apparently the Kersbrook Pub has topless barmaids Saturday afternoons
Unfortunately I wont be riding this Saturday as I have a date with a cement mixer.

Toy Run

Anyone going to the Adelaide Toy Run this year, there is a great breakfast put on by the Ulysses Club at Camden Park Oval on Anzac Highway from 8am onwards, its only $6 and is a full cooked brekky. Everyone is welcome and you have plenty of time to get down to Glenelg to get to the start or you can join in from the oval.

Toy run? there will be quite a lot of bikes in this event, I wonder if SAPOL will seek the power to shut pubs and bakery's along the route, overcrowding could be an issue as people wave at the bikes going past, ahh but this is classed as a Family event so it should be safe from any violence.

When I went through Maccy Sunday there were heaps of bikes parked by the pub...sticking it up the Rann Gov. & supporting the pub.

Good to see the pub & local community getting support, there will be many more rides to maccy pub in weeks to come, so the publican should stand to make back the profits he lost by being forced to close for no other reason than politics.

My Wife's best mate lives at Maccy & we go down for lunch a few times a year...will continue to do so..This sort of action (closing the pub) can effect the normal public as well & in turn get the general public offside with the Rann Gov.

mate this sort of action we are seeing in SA is far more worse than closing pubs, and I could tell you from personal experience how these laws are open to abuse of powers, lies, misinformation and blatant corruption. and your right the normal public will sooner or later be effected in some way or another.

anyways whens the next ride hahaha

Adv and enduro rides by the truckload, great company and some of the best scenery in the country.

Masterbrewer can generally be persuaded to lead an adv ride up there and back and we can accommodate any transport of gear for those taking part in his 'run'. He manages to pick up a bakery or six along the way too.

You're more than welcome.

Looks to be 3 of us coming.

DR650 - cleared by the missus/work
TE610 - cleared by the missus/work
625SXC - cleared by the missus - not yet work.

Interested in a bit of gear transport (just odd's and ends nothing to major) and interested in the ride up there also. Though we may be taking a 4x4 up, but yet to be confirmed.

Now I am mobile, I am very keen for an Avoca munch.

No probs BigM. I take it you'll be there for Fri & Sat nights and looking for dorm accommodation? Talk to Masterbrewer about the ride up and we'll get into the transport of goods closer to the date. You'll have a ball.

cheers

Yep, Fri Sat, maybe Sun - Dorms as well, doubt any of the female variants will be attending.

I might post over in DBW, seems to be the place to arrange it all.

Sunday would be good for me, should have bike back By then, flattened the battery last week then went to start it after recharging and some smoke was billowing out of the fairing area, Had a good look but couldn't see any electrical fires, turns out was a heat shield had come off.
