Discontinued - Local Vendor Index
This thread has been cut loose and vendor (with restrictions) are now in the flea market
This thread is an index of local ADV Rider inmates that make &/or sell items directly related to Adventure/Dual Sport Riding. To help keep this thread concise and easily used as a reference please do not post questions etc within this thread. If you have a question, or want to discuss something, follow the link in the vendors post that will take you to that vendors specific thread in the vendors forum Vendor Rules... (Still up for discussion in the original thread here): 1 - This is a vendor thread for local active ADV members only - No signing up just to do business and no listing external companies etc. 2 - Your post should be only be a brief introduction to what you can make or sell. If adding photos etc please use small low resolution images to keep your post at a reasonable size and fats for those still on dial up connections. 3 - You must have a corresponding thread in the true 'Vendors Forum' and a link in your post in this thread, making it easy for the inmates to find your thread in the vendors forum to ask questions or hold a discussion. 4 - If updating or adding new items etc copy your old post, delete it and re-post your information, this will bring the thread to the top of the heap and everyone will know something is new. 5 - For non ADV / Dual Sport riding/bike 'Trade' Entries there is a 'Trade Directory' here. 6 - Continuous 'Bumping Up' of your thread can become annoying, please do not continuously bump up your post unless there is a real change/update.

Blowing the vendor thread out of the water - to avoid top end clutter ditch the vendor thread - it averages just over 1 post a month.
I does have the bosses ads init but.

I tend to agree to let it slide...

Agreed, thought there would be more vendors.
Just questioning some questionable math for the hell of it. 9 weeks / 7 posts = 3 per month? It was never going to be a lot of posting for this one anyway, the number of "hits" is the sign of it's (un)popularity. 100 per week, don't know if that's high or low. Anyway, the tag line plugs are more than generous. While we'e at it...is it possible to cleanup the flea market? Some stuff is from January, hard to know what's still current. Maybe if posts over 1 (or 2) months old were deleted, then you would simply need to repost every month if gear not flogged yet.

Are you Vendor types going to put your products up for sale in the Fleamarket then????
Even if you have to post it in every 2 months or so!!! Or leave your Vendor stuff at the top and let the other guys sell off their stuff under your threads?????? |

The vendor thread is a flexing of the rules as 'technically' it should be under the equipment parent forum. 'Technically' vendors should not be in the Flea Market, which is 'Technically' flexing the rules in its own existence.
Having said all that, I'll merge the two and see if it creates a stir.

Good suggestion, I'll pass it on to the Mod.

Greg,
My last outgoing task was to unsticky this thread and merge the vendor posts into the Flea Market, I tweaked the first post a little to incorporate the recent changes of wanted thread and vendors. The semi regular 90 day purge I'll leave to you. In the past I just posted about one weeks warning for those that wanted to bump up their posts, then just deleted them after the weeks up.
