I think that’s farther up than the spot I was thinking of. I’m pretty sure the place I normally go is just past Exit 1.

Sort of directly across from the bridge at the tip of Inwood???

Tipsy, please check the map I posted. You'll take exit #3. There are huge sign boards on the Palisades Parkway too.

Perry, we said 9:30 ish...

I'm up and ready, but it's still raining in the UES...

It's supposed to stop, so I might wait it out, maybe be there by 10ish, give the rain some time to stop.

Anyone else of the same thought?

Yeah...went out at about 7am and it was wet but not raining. Just came back (8:15) and it was drizzling.

The radar doesn’t look too bad though...I'll probably still plan to be there at 9:30am give or take.

I hope you guys having a good time today. I'm terrible. Sneezing, coughing... I called Lars early in the morning to tell him I'm out, it was a funny experience. I didn't know my tonsils were in bad shape and I couldn't even talk. He says "hallo - hallo?", my answer was "gnaahhmm ahhm ouhhtt hhh!" See you QQ's on next rides... Keep yourselves far from flu.

Oh, hey, I'll try to show up pn BMW RA meeting thingy tomorrow, 7PM if I feel alright.

You suck monkey ass! You schedule a ride and don't show up?

We had a good ride and a good time - good company always helps. Heck I don't remember any of the Adv names that showed up today but if you guys want to ride again just drop us a PM.

Regards

Would definitely like to ride again soon. Thanks for leading the way!

I just got in. I learned today that I need to replace my tires, actually they needed replacing about 15k miles ago but they are fine for daily commuting, they are definitly no good for twisties.

Can someone tell me why is it when it's boiling hot and sunny and you stop to take your gear off rain comes out of nowhere and hits VERY hard? then you pull off the road getting soaked to put your gear BACK on and the rain stops 3 minutes later and the sun comes out to roast you all over again?

Eddie
PS I almost bought it on the GWB on the way back when an accident caused a domino effect of brake lights and the bitch in the minivan behind me doesn't see till it's too late and slams on her brakes, I couldn't move further up and her bumper just barely touched me as she slid to a stop.

Brad, you need to get liquorfied?

I'll never forgive you FF's. You should drop by and bring me a cup of chicken soup and show me some TLC on your way back home...

I'm glad you F's have a good time, I knew it, you were in good hands. See ya next time.

Hey, don't forget tomorrow evening BMWRA...!

Awww…the GWB. I sort of feel like I’m playing Frogger on my bike when I ride across that thing.

I’m always interested in getting liquorfied Eddie…especially now that it’s warm out. We should do the beer garden in Astoria one of these days/evenings.
