My Trip of a Lifetime!Edinburgh-Kathmandu-Edinburgh

Hello Adventurers!
my name is Marcin and I am polish.I want to share something with you. 9 months ago I started preparing for my big trip. It was more like a dream, something you spend your time on planning but you never know if you will be able to do it.You buy maps and guides, study them. You try to save as much money as you can for this purpose. You spend hundreds of hours sitting in front of your computer, browsing for information, looking for people with similar plans. Now i can tell you, IT IS HAPPENING.
On 31st August I plan to depart from Edinburgh, Scotland and ride to Kathmandu, Nepal. The route will go through France, Germany, Poland, Slovakia, Austria, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, Turkey, Iran, Pakistan, India and, finally, Nepal. Then I'll stop, turn my bike 180 degrees and go back.
Apart from being a personal odyssey, the trip is also designed with a charitable purpose. My own website is at http://www.sofarsonepal.za.pl/ and details can be found there.Hopefully I will have some interesting stories and photos to post up over the next few months so please keep an eye on this thread and all comments and advice will be most welcome.
best regards to you all,marcin

Congratulations for taking the step to realize your dream!

When will you pass through Turkey? I can get you hooked to some friends in case you'll need some help.
