Basil took the TINY bike down the hard route there is a easy route to the right of that shot...which I took only so I could get down quick to take the photo's ............Basil also said that the route we have planned is no harder than it was in Wales.

I would say that if the weather is OK most of the trails apart from the narrow one are doable on a big bike. But I will be puting in road section's so that anyone that wishes can by pass any of the trail's.
We are all out to have a good weekend riding and making new friend's.
we don't want anyone not enjoying the weekend,That Is why I have been out for the last few weekend's riding the trail's to avoid any place that a big bike would get boged down in.
There will be some climb's and decent's,but I should think that everyone will enjoy the area and the trail's .

there will be plenty of us to help each other out .
Let's now hope the weather will be as good as the Trail's.

Alas my weekends are already booked with camping trips and family visits, etc for the next month or so. If the weather hasn't totally turned to spod then I'll try and bring a Uly to the September meet in Wales. Went to Wales for the first time last year and loved it.

Though I doubt the Uly will be ideal for some of the places you lot went last time

And also the road riders road some tracks IIRC and they would be nice on a Ullyses I reckon.

It would definitely be nice to do some tracks - I'd like to use my Uly for some off road, but I appreciate it's not an uber trail bike :)

Perhaps if I manage to fit in the Rider's Edge off-road course between now and then I'll be more confident :)

'major upheavals' ---

After experiencing major upheavals in my personal circumstances during which I missed Rhyader One --- I am settled in the south-west of Scotland for the summer so could be a possible on my XJR--- I know Tan Hill well having led club rides there in the past but don't remember seeing much in the way of facilities plenty bogs and burns ( streams to you English) to wash the feet in tho'.

Hope to see you all there --- especially Old Baldrick --- time we had a beer together again

I'm still riding regularly but can only access the web at the local library so no pics from my travels --- yet

I have a route planned to miss the last lane of the day out,for those that wish,But I need to know if anyone else want's to miss the off road ride,if so I will plan a road section so that they can still meet up with us at the Dinner stop.

Thank's
