I was thinking of using one of those for the winter but went to 5-40 oil instead. IIRC they recommend ultrasonic cleaning and replacing every forth oil change. The HiFlo seemed more cost effetive for my needs.

I only changed the washer and o-rings a few times just for the hell of it and have a bunch left over. Replace as needed.

Speedbrain

Looks like Speedbrain are winding down the shop for the G450x now...
I've just had a look and lots of stuff being jobbed out. It might be worthwhile for a look.

Downside is I bought some parts from them a couple of months ago, and the first shipment got lost along the way. They sent out another lot and got them in August.
However, the original shipment turned up at the end of September, after travelling via Peru (to Australia). I'm thinking it won't be worth their while to get the shipment back now

DISCLAIMER: I have no association with Speedbrain or BMW, apart from the being a customer and buying expensive sh*t to play with.

OK boys,,,wheel bearings.
$67+ a piece is alittle rich, when the wheels take three of them.
Im gona need rears soon.
Oh yea,,,,,rims too.Anybody got a part number for excel's,or D.I.D?It needed black rims anyway.
The stockers are cracking pretty bad,,not from abuse or hits either.

Dunno bout bearings, but a little googling with the sizes should get you in the neighborhood, and I thought the wheels were a direct fit with KTM wheels? Is that just hte brake pads I'm thinking of?

Yep just brake pads.Boatman and i try'd KTM bearings,,there way to big.Ofcourse i have 2 sets of them in the tool box.
But man,,$180+ per wheel for bearings,,,,fuck. The bikes only got 650miles on it.
The stock rims cracking is another thing.Never seen a rim crack like this. Its not from abuse or rock hits etc.seems to crack from the top down, then goes round the round part of the rim.

Try these guys for bearings. I haven't ordered for the 450 yet, but they've been able to source every other one.

EDIT: From some scibbling I found. Use at your own risk.
The bearings you need should be SKF part # 6905-2RS You need 5 to do both wheels.
