Hub, rim spokes and all!

$300 Shipped US

I have a used front rim off of a G450X and it may fit the Husky line also.

The rim started getting a crack in the factory seam and BMW warrantied the crack with a NEW complete assembly so I had this one rewelded and kept as a spare. I no longer have the bike so its time for it to go.....

This will be the first modern off road bike for me with the last being a Honda XL250 about 35 years ago. I'm hoping that the bike isn't too high-strung for me to learn enduro/trail riding on.

cheers,

Here's the new bike just arrived home on a cold rainy MN spring (WTF is that?) day.

Has some cheesy race number graphics that I'll probably get rid of, but otherwise seems to be a pretty clean unit. Was sold as a demonstrator out of Leo's South, Minneapolis area. About 45 hrs on it. Last licensed in 2011. I'm hoping that this bike will enable me to get into enduro and hare scramble type riding.

cheers,
melby

I have two discs the first has second edition and the date 09/2008 on the disc. The update has third edition and 10/2009 on it.

Did your dealer upgrade them - not sure how to get a new edition?

GPR damper kit for sale

I have a GPR damper kit complete (blue damper) for a 450X for sale. $225 including shipping to lower 48. I know this isn't the classified but I figured nobody with a BMW 450 would see it there. PM me if interested.

I bet your best chance for a sale would be to place an ad over in the Flea Market, and then refer to it, here

Do you guys know if a KTM rear wheel is a direct replacement to the OEM?

When I say direct replacement, what I mean is being able to swap the wheels without a different axle bolt. I am OK if the rotor and sprocket need to be changed but it would be great if those could be swaped as well.

Pretty sure it's been stated in this thread already... I can't find it right now (but I only gave it a real quick try).

I swapped my spare G450X wheels set up with ice spikes back and forth with my 2008 300 XCW all winter with no issues. The back wheel was a direct swap and I needed a custom fabricated (but relatively simple) axle for the front end. Temporarily lost the speedo on the KTM because there was no sensor, but that was it. Worked great!
