I tried to buy the red/blue graphics kit from their online site yesterday, but they don't have credit card facilities. You must send a "money order" first before they will despatch it. I would be waiting longer for the sticker kit than I have been waiting for my G450X!
Then there was the small matter of 68 euros (about $120 Aus) for FREIGHT!!!!! for a sticker kit????!!!
I don't particularly like either kit. I wish they did a "full on" replica kit of the race bike

Nope, wrong again! Have you seen the Kymco motor up close?
Trust me, it ain't no SV. BTW, I've ridden the bike and after that, you know it's not an SV motor. What a POS.

So... does that mean that you must use the Akropovic exhaust to get the full 49hp?, or that using the higher power setting will wreck the cat in the the stock exhaust?.
Can you get the full 49 hp with the stock exhaust?

the Akra is very expensive in HOlland and a lot cheaper in GB.
What i heard is that BMW will come with there own sport exhaust... later this year. Hope it wil be a lot cheaper than the Akra....
Though the Akra has no TUV street warrenty in Germany and official in Holland) the garanty of the g450x wile optain if you have the Akra.

This correct. Never believe what you here from others. Just read the BMW Riders Manual.

If you want a racing bike straight out of the box then you have to spend the money.

You will also loose you warranty if you abuse the bike at 8,000rpm or 110kph. It is all recorded on the bike computer.

This is a bike you have to look after well and keep the serving up.

It is also not road legal with the Akra or the BMW exhaust so you could have a problem with an insurance claim if they find the bike does not comply with the except design.

You can not change the bike power from 30kw to 38kw with the standard exhaust as well you can not ride the bike on public roads with the plug installed. The plug must be removed and the bike power will go back to standard power 30kw.

This is only if you want to keep your warranty and your insurance.

The standard 450 comes with a plastic sump guard. The aluminium guard will not be available until the 4 quarter. There is no pricing.

This does piss me off. I've only just received my 08 adventure BMW off road sump guard today. It was on order for 7 months, but it well built and there is a full rubber support between the sump and the aluminium guard full length of the underside sump.
