Really sorry to hear this PK, you've been the backbone of the Sand Fleas.
I just think you'll have to get up a little earlier and drive a little way to come ride with your buddies.I hope everything works out and you are out riding with us again real soon.

Trails in Croom
Went to Croom with Dirtfun and his lovely wife yesterday to watched Dr.Z in the trials out there.
Got lots of thumbs up from dirt folks when they saw me riding my BMW R1200RT, complete wth paniers, up the sand dirt road. We saw about an hours worth of some pretty amazing trials riding, I didn't know Croom had that much to offer in the way of hill climbs. Took my camera but the battery crapped out as soon as I turned it on. We hooked up with DR.Z and Graemebo, who looked a little beat. Graemebo said the trials bike was beating him to death, but was loving every moment. Dirtfun and I had a potter around on a trials bike. It's really weird riding a bike that has nothing between your legs. I may have to get a used one of these things and go out and play there. Although I think there's a multi day school near Chatanooga, so I might sign my Kid and myself up and go check it out. I also managed to get Croom stickers for the two KTM's and my Daughter's TTR125, so we might go out one day this week as my kids are off school.

That's the one, $565 for a two day school, it includes lodging, food and bike rental so I guess it's not that bad.
I may have to work on the wifey a little to see if I can swing it for me and the kid.

Thanks for all the wishing me well guys, I am just fine. I have been through this crap before, and it was rough the first time. I have family and alot of good friends, including you guys. Thanks for all the offers to help me out, but I dont need anything really.
![]() The wife and I are still talking and being civil about this. I know that she wants me to come back now that I have moved out, they always want whats just out of reach it seems. I am here at the house now picking up the Magna and a few odds and ends, time to get back on the road. |

PK, really sorry to hear about your troubles, hope it doesn't get too painful, I imagine it will come in waves, ride them out. Let me know if I can help.
DrZ, thanks man! You have a great family, thanks for letting me spend some time with you and especially riding Bill's bike. It was a blast. It looks really easy, nice and slow, but somehow I still ended up getting the hand grip in the gut, my leg caught between the front wheel and frame as well as numerous stalling and falling episodes. Through and through it was a blast, zipped over fallen logs, climbed stuff, went real slow. Currently working on the esposa trying to hit all the buttons, safe, slow, quiet, relatively cheap. Shes warming up to it, but just doesn't get buying a bike with out a seat. DrZ can ride, on the first section he seemed a bit rusty, then wham, hes climbing some knarly shit, rolling all kinds of stuff. You definately got skills man. Thanks again.

Anybody riding this weekend other than Bronc3?
I might be able to swing a Saturday or Sunday ride. Maybe we can meet @ LITF or some other place & ride w/Bronc3.
