Boy, that bike sure would look good with some Kenda Trakmaster 2s strapped to them rims! Low seat height, low center of gravitiy, 'cept the ground clearance would suck. Any chance of getting raising links instead of lowering links?

I've had trouble with my right knee before when I had a collision with a calf on my DR350 about 9 years ago. That little fucker made me highside off the bike upon impact, landing on my (you guessed it) right knee, back, helmet, etc. Nothing happened to the calf, that some bitch kept on going through a hole in the fence back to his pasture. I guess it finally caught up to me! Oh well, shit happens! I'll wait to see what the Ortho Dr says after I get an MRI. In the meantime, rum & coke seems to ease the pain a little. Needless to say, I may not be riding for a while. I'll keep you FFs posted.
I tore my acl pcl and miniscus in my left knee years ago. I am 100% now just go thru the motions. It will get better.

Thanks for the words of encouragement! I still hope it's nothing serious, but everytime I stand up, it hurts like hell to put any weight on my right knee. That's cool! I can take the pain. It's just a bump in the road just like the game of life!

That sucks DrZ, I tore my miniscus last year at Devils Creek. Had it scoped in May and it still isn't like I feel it should be. But then again I don't really rehab it like I should. I personally think there is something else but the Doc. did the easy fix.

I'm in for Sunday, the Mrs. is working the next 2 weekends. I just can't jack myself up, cause we leave on a cruise 2 weeks from today.
Nice bike Churchill, thats just like PK's.
Where we all meeting ?

I vote for ChrisE to lead the Fleas

It was the rider not the bike, not enough balls to stay on the gas.
Chop the throttle, front digs in, down I go. Ribtoberfest was one year on a dirt bike and I really haven't been in the sugar since my crash during bike week.
I still think a 9fiddy is the most fun you can have with your pants on.
You reallly have to ride one to understand. I'll never get rid of it. I'm hoping to pick up enough skills with a smaller tamer bike to master the beast.

Anyway now that Knutz is out of the picture for a while who is going to step up and lead the fleas? I know a few places I'd like to try out from the Jeep days.
ChrisE for Fleas leader!!
DrZ, sorry to hear of your injury. The knee can be tricky and needs to be looked at ASAP. The good news is you're young enough yet to have a complete recovery. Good luck!

I already feel like i'm scraping the ground, it's perfect height for me on this thing. Although my 6'/200lb frame feels like i"m overwhelming it.

going to the lakeland gunshow on saturday from Wesley Chapel. Anyone else going?

I'm in for Sunday, Mata said I could ride her KLR. What time? We could meet up some where in west Orlando and ride up or is the BRP a trailer queen?
Billy's Bay sounds good. I also would like to hit the wash on the east power line. Do you remember it?
Should be some good mud over that way also.

Trailer queen. I don't want to waste the Maxxis on 441. How about 9 a.m.?

See you guys at the powerlines, 9AM. BM if you want to meet at the Dam Diner, I will be passing through at 8:30.

Sorry to hear about the knee Dr. Z, my best advice for you is to keep off it and try not to bend it until they figure out what is wrong. I messed my knee up so bad that I could not walk on it. The Doc checked it out and put me in a brace and on crutches. If you keep walking on it, you may make things worse. Get better soon man.

Francis, good to hear from you man.
