I did a DRZ400E in Maryland and my KTM in NJ. Put Baja Designs kits on both and went through the proper chanels.I put DOT tires on both.

The DRZ was made easier by the fact it was titled by the dealer at the time I bought it. I had to get an inspection done ata an independant garage and with that I waltzed into MD DMV with my title, Inspection certificate and Insurance card and was out with plates in about 5 minutes, no questions asked.

It was slighlty different in NJ, I took the Cert Of Origin into the DMV and they issued me a tag and a title. I then had 14 days to get it inspected at a DMV Inspection center. I rolled up in the middle of January, snow on the ground and was out of there with an approved inspection in about 15 minutes.

I brought the KTM to FL and took my NJ registration into DMV where I was issued with plates and a new title.

Now Husky and KTM give you street legal bikes. There is talk Yamaha will do the same withe the WR's next year. I'm sure Honda will follow suit.

I'm out for this weekend, and the 12th & 13th don't look promising right now. But how about another Day Off Ride on May 14th? Maybe over at Richloam and give that powdery sand a break.

OK, back to the ride. We may have two more riders coming up from the South. One on a 650L and one on a DR650. Quit lurking and join the madness guys.

I plan to meet BM at the Dam Diner for some nourishment at 7:30, so if anyone else wants breakfast, come on over. The address is 9685 SE Hwy 464C. Type that into the Google Earth search box and it will show you where its at. I think we can make it to Big Scrub Campground in 30 min. from the diner on bikes. This leaves an hour for me to eat and unload.

Pk, I'll google the map, but not sure what time we will be up there. For this ride I think we will scout and see what kind of mess we got ourselves into going from the tarmac to dirt.

As far as Knobs, most likely we will have to upgrade but for now I'm running kendatk270's.

We will be in a white chevy van 15pass.

Can't miss me. 6'5 280lbs which makes anything I ride look like a minibike.

Bring the 2-Smoke out BM, you dont need no stinking title. You can use my trailer tag if you want, just be sure to inform them that its a mobile home.

Nutz, I was talking about unloading my bike. I could do it while they cook my food and save time to take a dump afterward.
