I kept looking at the radar all day, and the forest did get some rain. It has rained out there at least 3 times this week.

I am not ready to go woods riding right now though. The DRZ is buried deep in the garage. I packed everything tight so I can fit my truck in there while I strip all the paint off.

I see that someone was on the sauce purty heavy.

Here's some pics of Bob & Elroy's big Vegas Adventure a few weeks back...

Getting ready for the ride...

On the way to Red Rock Canyon...

On the scenic drive in the park... simply AWESOME!

The "jeep" road Bob wanted to show me... that fookin road made my butthole pucker up cuz homie let me ride the 950 through some nasty, bouldered up chit

ADV salute...

Damn KTMs! That's OK though, the problem was a faulty (damaged by rock) kickstand switch. We found out later that the switch was a KLR part so no wonder the fooker broke.

Goodsprings, NV. A cool place to get some refreshments. If you're ever in there, don't forget to meet the feller that "talks to dead people".

Roach lakebed...

BTW, did I mention how fooking awesome a 950 is...

There's more pics here of the whole trip. Hope you enjoyed the breif tour and yes Bob lives in motorcycling f'n heaven.

Bob, here's some Angels Landing pics...

On the edge of Angels Landing... it's only about a 1500' drop.

My heart started pumping when I saw that pic with your damn foot over the ledge!! I don't have a fear of heights, just a fear of falling 1,500ft and bouncing off the rocks all the way down lol. Other than that, I enjoyed the pictures!

Went to vegas two years ago and everytime I was outside on the strip I was looking at the those mountains wishing I had my bike!!

Thanks for sharin.

You should see the trail going to that spot. You start wondering HTF people get there. You basically crawl over the sandstone ridge to get there. It looks more intimidating than it really is IMO. There's plenty of traction and footing along the ridge.

It wouldn't be a 950 without having to wrench on it. Like Bob and i always say, like dating a stripper.

Compared to yours, my stripper has been pretty low maintenance.

Blue ridge

Headed to the mountains on thurs. riding up on the V-Strom and camping, my DRZ is feeling lonely! I am not a camper so this trip will be interesting at the very least, I will be staying at Blue Ridge Motorcycles. Coming home next Tuesday. Should be a good time.
